    What Is This Tool?

The Dropshipping Profit Calculator estimates profit per order after supplier cost, supplier shipping, platform fees, ad cost per sale and refunds. It also shows the most you can spend on ads per sale before losing money.

What Can You Do With It?

Test a product before running paid ads. Find your break-even cost per acquisition (CPA) for Facebook, TikTok or Google ads. Project monthly profit at a given order volume.

    How Does It Work?

Profit per order = price × (1 − fee %) − supplier cost − supplier shipping − ad cost per sale − price × refund %. Break-even ad cost per sale = profit per order + current ad cost. Monthly profit = profit per order × orders per month.

    Key Benefits

Shows the break-even ad cost, which is the key number for paid traffic. Includes a refund rate so results are less optimistic. Instant results with no sign-up.

    Limitations and Important Notes

Refunds are modeled as a simple percentage of price; real refunds may also lose product and shipping costs. Monthly profit does not subtract fixed costs such as apps, store plan or tools.

    Privacy and Security

The numbers you enter in the Dropshipping Profit Calculator (selling price, supplier cost, supplier shipping and so on) are calculated in your browser. They are not sent to or saved on Usekit servers, and they disappear when you close the page.

    Real-World Example

    Inputs: Selling price = 30; Supplier cost = 9; Supplier shipping = 3; Payment/platform fees = 3; Ad cost per sale = 8; Refund rate = 3; Orders per month = 200. Results: Profit per order = $8.20; Profit margin = 27.33%; Break-even ad cost per sale = $16.20; Monthly profit = $1,640.00.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is break-even ad cost per sale?

It is the most you can pay in advertising to get one sale and still make $0 profit. Spending less than this leaves you a profit.

    Why include a refund rate?

Dropshipping often has delayed shipping and returns. Including a refund rate keeps the estimate closer to reality.

Should I include payment processor fees?

Yes. Add your store platform and payment processor percentages together in the fees field.
