What Is This Tool?
The QR Code Generator creates a QR code from any text or link and lets you download it as a PNG image.
What Can You Do With It?
Share a website link on posters, menus or business cards. Turn Wi-Fi details, contact text or notes into a scannable code. Create codes for event check-in sheets.
How Does It Work?
The open-source qrcode library encodes your text into the QR format with the chosen error correction level and draws it on a canvas, which is saved as a PNG.
Key Benefits
Static codes that never expire and need no account. Higher error correction helps codes scan even when partly damaged.
Limitations and Important Notes
Codes are static: you cannot change the content after printing. Very long text makes a dense code that is harder to scan. There are no scan statistics.
Privacy and Security
This tool runs entirely in your web browser. Your input and results are processed on your device and are not uploaded to Usekit servers.
Real-World Example
Enter https://usekit.top, choose 512 × 512 and Medium. The tool shows a QR code; scanning it with a phone camera opens https://usekit.top.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The content is stored in the code itself.
Which error correction should I choose?
Medium works for most uses. Choose High if the code may get dirty or have a logo over it.
What size is best for printing?
Use 1024 px for print and keep the printed code at least about 2 cm (0.8 in) wide.
